The levers.
Each emotion pushed is a documented lever in persuasion science. You see it → you resist it better.
🧬 Methodology
Each public RSS headline is classified by AI into a fixed list of topics, then each topic is analyzed (tone, narrative nudge). Every article is filed — no invented figures.

We continuously measure structural tension in Canada. Here we compare: do our 9 sources cover what is actually under strain?

🧬 How we calculate
We track public data (Statistics Canada, OSFI, Bank of Canada) and convert it into a 0–100 tension level per topic. In parallel we analyse the headlines of nine major Canadian outlets every morning — not the whole press: our 9 sources are listed below. When a topic is highly strained but missing from their front pages, we call it a blind spot. A topic with no matching data — crime stories, culture — is never force-matched.
